Life at USF
The University of San Francisco campus sits in the heart of San Francisco in a hilly, residential neighborhood that is just 5 km from downtown San Francisco. Nearby USF are neighborhoods filled with cafes, restaurants and shops, and Golden Gate Park (4.8 km x .8 km) with its museums, botanical gardens, windmills, forests, meadows, and beach. With over 100 clubs and organizations, ranging from community service to art exhibits, film series, professional organizations and graduate student associations, there are countless activities for students. All students have access to the award-winning Koret Health and Recreation Center which has everything you need to keep fit — from cardio and weight equipment, to fitness classes, to volleyball, basketball, and an Olympic-size pool.
