What students will achieve at MAD

Many graduates from Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design work in senior positions in the creative industries. They include Michael Jackson (one time Chief Executive of Channel 4); the fashion designer Marcus Lupfer, chart diva Karen Ramirez, Asif Kapadia (Director of Senna and The Warrior), John Woodward (former Chief Executive of the Film Council) and Chris Bailey (Creative Design Director at Burberry). Some 65% of the School's graduates go directly into employment in arts or media-related jobs with organizations as diverse as Sony UK, the BBC, Sky, independent production companies and a range of magazines, newspapers, and websites. Other graduates are working freelance or on short-term contracts in the worlds of film, photography, fashion, multimedia, graphic design, journalism, broadcasting, fine art, and animation. A significant number of graduates continue to study further at Masters or Ph.D. levels. The School has a highly rated research programme in both Media Communication and Art and Design, where it has pioneered a programme of practice-based PhDs. Some of our most successful graduates return to us as guest lecturers, while several of our research students have gone on to become lecturers and researchers within the School. Whatever your dream, to achieve it you will need talent, determination, commitment and tenacity, at MAD we can do the rest.
