Brief Introduction

The College of Commerce at National Chengchi University (CNCCU) is highly regarded nationally and internationally as the best business school in Taiwan. Our reputation is based on the caliber of our academics and students. The college boasts more than 130 professors who have earned Ph.D. degrees from world-renowned universities. Our faculty resource has been ranked 7th among the 50 Best Business Schools Asia, based on 2001 Asiaweek Survey. CNCCU graduates are highly employable and sought after by the local and international business communities.

With eight departments, nine institutions, several national-level research centers, and 31 multi-functional laboratories, CNCCU has achieved an outstanding record in academic research, consulting for government policies, business, and the community. Its EMBA (Executive MBA) program aims to strengthen the managerial competencies of participants to deal with the greater environmental turbulence, hyper-competition and to sensitize participants to the need for a constant re-assessment of the external and internal environments of their organizations. The programs also introduce the cutting-edge concepts and paradigms available to effectively deal with the inherent problems of management.

In addition, the entirely English taught IMBA (International MBA) program emphasizes cultivating potential elites from around the world in an international environment. With 50% local students and 50% international students under the guidance of both local professors and experts from around the world, the IMBA program provides an optimal international learning environment with internship opportunities in major corporations in Taiwan. The undergraduate ETP (English Taught Program) is the first of its kind in Taiwan that nurtures future international managers. The international student exchange program hosts student transfers with sister universities from all over the world which further diversifies the campus.

International MBA

The International MBA is the premier English Taught business program offered by National Chengchi University's College of Commerce.

We are the first and only such program in Taiwan to offer a fully accredited Masters of Business Administration completely in English.


We offer all course instruction in English with a specific focus on Asia-Pacific business dynamics, and cross-cultural understanding. Half of the students and faculty are local Taiwan citizens and the latter half are from abroad, representing a diverse mixture of people from more than 20 countries on 5 continents.
