The ERAM College

ERAM was born as a Multimedia and Audiovisual School in 1998 and soon become The University School ERAM as part of the University of Girona. The School ERAM was created to provide high-quality education and answer market necessities by training new professional profiles in the New Media and Design field. The accredited institute is recognized by educational and governmental organizations all over the world. ERAM is the pioneer in the North of Catalunya for preparing highly skilled professionals and develop young creative talents. ERAM College also delivers courses in English as affiliate center of the University of Northampton.


The school is located in a former textile factory, the Factoria Cultural Coma Cros de Salt. A charming space that has been renewed and equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities.

The Educational Offer

ERAM offers you a high education in Design, Multimedia, Audiovisual, Performance Art and Photography, in a unique and creative environment. The BA (Hon) in Graphic Design, an official degree of the University of Northampton taught in English in ERAM. The Audiovisual and Multimedia studies, an official degree of the University of Girona. The only degree in Spain that integrates both visual and multimedia. The Performance Art studies, an official degree of the University of Girona. One of the few official studies in Catalonia in this field. It also offers the advantage of a close collaboration with the main Festival of Arts of the city.

The team

The team of teachers, Ph.D. Professors, and experts are involved in improving student’s performance by engaging training, advising and by providing their knowledge and experience. The University invites members of the design profession to set projects, giving the experience of working with an external client and building links with industrial partners.

About Girona

Girona is a very popular tourist attraction in Catalunya for its historic architecture, gastronomy, and cultural events. Girona has a privileged location, right in the middle of the sea and the mountains, an hour by train from Barcelona. The city and its surrounding are one of the richest regions of Spain. Girona, nestled between four rivers, is a charming city and a hot spot with its many cultural offerings at any time of the year. The combination of green areas and old stones makes the old town a spectacular maze of beautiful royal gardens and ancient castle walls. Vivid Cultural Life Girona has known also because was recently the backdrop of the Game of Thrones shooting and will appear on the 6th season of the Tv series. During the year, the university students bring the streets to life with numerous activities in Girona's many cozy coffee bars and live music pubs. You mustn’t miss the Girona’s cultural, social, gastronomic, nightlife and sports activities.

An important tool in the creative process is the logbook. Making an analogy with the logbook, the photographer notes or sticks in a notebook, all those events, ideas, concepts, clippings, situations, etc. In short, everything that catches your attention and is the object of your interest.
