Introduction

In 2001, our Almighty God blessed us with the vision of creating an Institution of Higher Education that would supply the needs of professional training in the Western Sector of the Province of Panama, specifically in the Township of Vista Alegre, District of Arraiján, Province of Panama. With the support of a majestic work team and professionals with excellent experience in teaching, the document that formalizes the interest in creating the university is presented to the Ministry of Education, in compliance with the regulations in force for the creation of higher education institutions in the country.

In 2003, the Executive Branch approved Executive Decree No. 42 of July 22, 2003, which granted the "UNIVERSIDAD CRISTIANA DE PANAMÁ, SPECIALIZED IN ADMINISTRATIVE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SCIENCES" , legal autonomy in its operation, its own patrimony and the right to administer it, as well as the faculty to organize its study plans, programs and academic services. That same year the first three careers offered by the university were approved: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, and Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Human Resources Systems.

The mission of our University is "To contribute to the high quality professional training of a citizen
