The Higher Institute of Audiovisual Professions (ISMA) was founded in 2006 around clear educational values, relevant programs, regular technical investments, a high-level teaching staff, quality partnerships for a specific objective: Professionalization of students.
The ISMA is a private technical higher education institution recognized by the State of Benin. Its mission is to offer its students from different backgrounds the means to prepare effectively for their integration into professional life.
To this end, ISMA offers comprehensive, qualifying and graduate programs that prepare students for the perfectly identified trades of the audiovisual and cinematographic chain. Also, ISMA has obtained accreditation by the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES) of the Professional Bachelors and Professional Masters in all the courses that it proposes.
In vocational training, competence is defined as the power to act, to succeed and to progress in order to carry out a job that is based on an organized set of knowledge and know-how.
At ISMA, this competence is acquired through a multidisciplinary technical education linked to the mastery of the trade and a fundamental education which allows to acquire skills that go beyond the immediate framework of the profession and which can be reinvested in contexts of Personal and social life.
Training at ISMA combines theory with practice. Students carry out professional synthesis projects (reports, documentaries, fictions, magazines, etc.) at the end of each academic year. Projects of films realized according to the pedagogy of project validate their end of cycle.
