Founded in 1995/96 as a mainstay of the unique Innsbruck Open University concept, Management Center Innsbruck has earned a top position in the international landscape of higher education. In the framework of the "Comprehensive University Innsbruck" concept the MCI strives to mentor motivated people, who want to build their future through goal-oriented continuing education, in their personal and professional development.

MCI offers graduate, non-graduate and post-graduate educational programs of the highest standard to senior and junior managers from all management levels and branches. MCI's programs focus on all levels of the personality and include areas of state-of-the art knowledge from science and practice relevant to business and society. Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) is an integral part of the unique "Comprehensive University Innsbruck" concept in Austria and has attained a leading position in international higher education as a result of its on-going quality and customer orientation. The MCI Management Center Innsbruck offers 24 bachelor and master programs and 5 executive master programs in the fields of Management & Social Sciences als well as Technology & Life Sciences.

AACSB Accredidation

The executive board of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), based in Tampa, USA, has approved the worldwide AACSB accredidation of MCI as a first class business school. AACSB was founded in 1916 as an 'assosciation of the best' and has renownded universities like Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Berkeley, Cornell and Chicago among its founding members.

Double FIBAA Premium Seal

A benchmark has been set by the MCI with the double FIBAA Premium Seal awarded in September 2015. The award is made only to universities with high standards of excellence in research, teaching, management and services. The fact that the MCI has been awarded two Premium Seals is a unique achievement at the international level.

2016 rankings: MCI best Austrian university

In the 2016 Universum ranking, the MCI was again the winner among Austria’s universities: 1st place for Best Career Service, 1st place for Strongest Focus on Employability, 2nd place for Most Satisfied Students. The MCI is the only Austrian university in the top 3 in all categories. Truly International

Applicants from 70 and students from 47 nations and faculty and staff from some 34 nations make the MCI truly international. In the year 2015/16 alone MCI had some 350 exchange students from all over the world to study at the Entrepreneurial School. At MCI 9 degree programs are fully led in English. Quality management

The MCI’s process-oriented quality management system relates to the quality goals and parameters defined in its Mission Statement & Success Factors. It guarantees fulfillment of a legal requirement to implement quality management as a central steering tool on the one hand and to achieve the university’s quality goals as defined in its mission statement on the other. Due account is also taken of European standards, external accreditation requirements and the results of polls and rankings.
