Molecular Biotechnology is a graduate (second-cycle) program of studies that leads to a Magister degree (Polish equivalent of a Master's degree). The study program is made up of compulsory courses and elective courses. Compulsory courses allow broadening your theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: molecular biotechnology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, cell biology, medical biotechnology, plant biotechnology, bioinformatics, the application of biotechnology in environmental protection, and protection of industrial property and copyright.

The RaVeN EIT-Labelled master’s program in Mining Engineering responds to this challenge by offering an innovative education program that offers a comprehensive approach to resources with an emphasis on a holistic value chain and on closing the gap between the supply of, and demand for, raw materials. The objective will be pursued along an active learning path involving students and looking for unconventional solutions that can get us closer to a more self-contained (natural resource re-circulating) and, therefore, more sustainable economy. In this context, the minerals industry is facing a changing talent landscape, necessitating of new skill sets in their workforce. Graduating from the CUT (studies in English) will provide an opportunity for the building license application after certain legal requirements are fulfilled. After a two-year practical training period, the graduates will also have a chance to apply for the European Union engineer degree, which is honored in all European Union countries.
