The multidisciplinary Master of Science degree in Regenerative Studies prepares individuals for active professional and research roles aimed at finding successful solutions to environmental problems in the 21st century.

The Master of Science in Biostatistics program will train students in biostatistical methods for study design, data analysis, and statistical reporting for scientific and lay audiences. This degree will train students in key areas including data management, statistical reasoning, the interpretation of numeric data for scientific inference in studies in medicine and public health, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with scientists and other public health stakeholders across disciplines. Graduates of the program are prepared to work as statisticians in a variety of professional environments including government, academic, healthcare, and industry. In addition, students receive training in preparation for quantitative doctoral programs in public health, such as biostatistics and epidemiology.

The MS in Biostatistics is offered by the Department of Biostatistics & Epidemiology on the New Brunswick location. MS in Biostatistics students will have the comprehensive knowledge and technical skills needed for planning and conducting statistical analyses for studies.

The Master of Science in Biostatistics program provides an innovative curriculum to meet a range of professional needs and interests. The program trains students in study design, appropriate use of statistical and computational techniques, and interpretation of data analysis results arising from public health and biomedical research. Students learn both classical and modern statistical methods and apply their statistical skills and knowledge to solve "big data” problems. They have the opportunity to work with faculty on cutting edge research projects, such as discovering genetic causes of common diseases, developing statistical algorithms to monitor treatment efficacy, and reducing medical costs through electronic health records.

The Master of Science in Clinical Research is a two-year (five semesters) program that aims to provide the tools and guidance necessary to undertake clinical research. The student takes two semesters of class (Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 6 p.m.) followed by three semesters of mentored clinical research.
