Applicants to the master's program in orchestral conducting must submit a video of the applicant in rehearsals and performances. Upload this to the College of Music Supplemental Application. Deadline is Dec 1. Virtual Audition Those invited to audition will be contacted by the orchestral conducting faculty.

Graduate Degrees are offered in Master of Arts and Master of Music. Degree opportunities include: collaborative piano, composition, conducting (wind, choral, and orchestral), jazz studies, music education, music performance (brass, percussion, piano, strings, voice, and woodwinds), music theory, musicology, and piano pedagogy.

The Master's Degree Program in Communication from Michigan State University has two major directions, the thesis option (pre-Ph.D. track) and the final examination option (career-oriented track). For either option, you can select a focus area in communication as an emphasis, such as interpersonal communication, organizational communication, mediated communication, persuasion and social influence, political communication or intercultural communication.

Applicants must submit a teaching demonstration video of at least 60 minutes of instruction. Any level of student may be presented. Upload to the College of Music Supplemental Application. Deadline is Dec 1. Audition: Use the College of Music Supplemental Application to register for an audition. Interview: An interview with the Director of Piano Pedagogy is required of applicants for the MM in Piano Pedagogy. Interviews will be 15 to 30 minutes in length, and will occur on the assigned audition day.
