The Master in Photographic Production and Storytelling will train you to be an author responsible for the creation of images and applied narrative in still photography and in the artistic direction of photographic productions. The Master is clearly focused on photographic creation, editing and production and is fed back and complemented by ESCAC's great previous experience in the cinematographic sector, contributing as a great novelty the hybridization of photographic and cinematographic formats.

The Master in Production is made up of the Postgraduates in Production Management and in Film Business.

The Master’s Degree in Film and Screen Studies at the University of Barcelona is an international master’s that has the aim of promoting research and reflection on contemporary audiovisual culture and the history and evolution of moving images.

The master’s degree provides students with the knowledge and techniques required to direct audiovisual works in any format. Students will learn about the director’s job and perform this role and the ones of the other members of the direction department during the preproduction, shooting, and postproduction processes.

The Master in Cinematographic Direction offers you the artistic and technical knowledge of cinematographic direction necessary for any audiovisual work.

The course provides students with the knowledge and techniques to enable them to produce audiovisual works in any format. Students will learn about and complete the work of the director and of the other members of the directing team in the preparation, filming and post-production processes.

Film editing has evolved enormously in parallel with the language of cinema itself. Thanks to technical advances, this has ceased to be the invisible element of classic cinema to be considered one more of the expressive tools.

The ESCAC Documentary Master's program involves for the student a complete immersion in the practical and theoretical dimensions of the different formats of today's documentary.
