Its objective is to carry out scientific research, teaching, dissemination, and academic extension activities in the field of social sciences and humanities. The Master's Degree in Social Anthropology (MAS) offered by the Anthropological Studies Program (PEA) of El Colegio de San Luis, AC is a postgraduate program aimed at the training of researchers for the generation of anthropological knowledge, the interpretation of sociocultural dynamics, and processes, economic and political. It is a school-based, generational-opening program with a four-semester study plan that requires full-time dedication.

The Master's Degree in Sustainable Water Management (MAGESA) offered by the Water and Society Program of El Colegio de San Luis is a postgraduate course aimed at research and training researchers and professionals for equitable, democratic, and sustainable water management. It is a multidisciplinary and consolidated program, face-to-face, open every two years, with a four-semester study plan that takes two years and requires full-time exclusive dedication. The research lines intertwine academic learning strategies, research questions, and field practices of students and teachers. The curricular organization is flexible and favors academic mobility and fieldwork for students. Promotes significant progress in research work to obtain a degree, so that students conclude the master's thesis at the end of the fourth semester.

The Master's Degree in Family and Couples Therapy aims to develop theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, orientation, and treatment of family and couples, as well as research in this area. Graduate-level professionals with theoretical knowledge, skills, and attitudes. specific practices to carry out preventive, psychosocial, psycho-educational or therapeutic interventions, according to their corresponding professional fields, in a wide range of cases and intervention contexts, with the necessary skills to work in intervention programs with specific problems, such as childhood programs and adolescence, problems in couple relationships, or derived from separations or divorces, multi-problem families or in marginalized contexts, or from different family configurations.

The Master of Education program according to the new trends aims to prepare professionals in the area of ​​teaching and training in pedagogy, administration, research, and educational planning, with the support of information and communication technologies.

The Master in History (MHIS) is part of the teaching offer of the Research and Teaching Program in History of El Colegio de San Luis AC (COLSAN). It was created in 1997, it is then the first postgraduate course offered by the Institution, which is a Public Research Center belonging to the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). Since 2005, the MHIS belongs to the National Quality Postgraduate Program (PNPC), where it is currently registered as a Consolidated Level Program, recognition ratified in 2018.

The Master of Education, in its non-school modality, consists of four phases or periods, which can be taken in two years. However, each student will be able to take them in more or fewer months, depending on the time they dedicate to each subject. The maximum length of stay in each phase or period is one year.

The Master's program in Human Resources Management aims to prepare professionals in two dimensions at the domain level, the first with subjects concerning the key aspects of personnel administration, from normative approaches, the attraction and retention of human talent within the company, as well as the organizational behavior and the design of the administrative processes. The second dimension aims to take the participants to a level of mastery in strategic issues, in order to empower and develop human talent within the organization and for the benefit of the community and the country.
