The Master of Arts in Island Studies (MAIS) at the University of Prince Edward Island is a unique, interdisciplinary, and policy-driven graduate program that critiques islands on their own terms. The Master of Applied Health Services Research (MAHSR) program is intended for students who are interested in pursuing a career in health research or in health services. A collaborative venture of Memorial University of Newfoundland, the University of New Brunswick, St. Mary's University, and the University of Prince Edward Island, this degree program is coordinated through the Atlantic Research Training Centre (ARTC). The degree program provides knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex health policy issues and contribute to the future of health services in Atlantic Canada.

The University of Prince Edward Island is excited to partner with Madrid's Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) to deliver a joint one-year Master in Global Affairs program. The Master in Global Affairs program has a proven track record at URJC for developing students with the knowledge, insights, and talents needed to help address and solve some of the most critical challenges facing our world.

The Master of Science in Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island is designed to enhance students' expertise in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. This interdisciplinary program emphasizes both theoretical and applied aspects of these fields, fostering skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and computational techniques.

The MSc degree of the University of Prince Edward Island requires the demonstration of a reasonable mastery of a concentrated field of study. The latter is attested by the achieving of satisfactory standings in the minimum number of graduate courses required by the respective Faculty, the completion of a research project, and the writing of a thesis based upon the research. There will be considerable interaction and co-operation among the departments/faculties to provide courses and research facilities to meet the needs of individual students and their research projects.

The Master of Science in Sustainable Design Engineering at the University of Prince Edward Island focuses on developing innovative engineering solutions that promote sustainability.
