In this context, the specialization course in clinical nutrition aims to complement the training of professionals, with all theoretical and scientific resources applied to the professional universe. The objectives of the course are: Offer subsidies for nutritionists to analyze balanced decision-making for the promotion, maintenance, and recovery of health; Provide a high level of scientific and professional development for professionals; Train holistic professionals, who can act as leaders, leaders or other strategic functions in the health area.

The Graduate Program in Philosophy has three different and at the same time integrated investigation axes: Ethics and Political Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Metaphysics, and Epistemology.

The Graduate Program in History aims to broaden and deepen knowledge in order to stimulate creativity in research and qualify personnel for the exercise of teaching and research. It is structured around the concentration area of History, Culture, and Society and has three research topics which are: Culture and Power, Space and Sociability and Intersubjectivity and Plurality: reflection and feelings in history. The program has developed many research partnerships with Brazilian and foreign institutions.

In addition, the scenario generated by the great transformations resulting from technological advances and the globalization of the economy demands a concept of school under a systemic approach, within the scope of school management. This means thinking about a modern, democratic, and autonomous management model, capable of contributing to raising the quality of education and promoting sustainability, understood here in its broadest concept, which encompasses the social, economic, and environmental dimension.

The Graduate Program in Education has four main objectives: to form researchers in the area of education; to form professionals in the educational sector in institutions and educational systems and in business, government, social organizations, and social movements; to produce and disseminate knowledge in the area of education; to contribute to the development of thought and educational practice.
