The degree provides an opportunity to study management and policy issues in an intergovernmental and intersectoral context. Coursework focuses on developing critical intellectual capacities, sound analytical skills and a sensitivity to the ethical and value concerns that are central to the traditions of the field of public administration. Every TSPPPA master's student also completes a pro bono capstone project for a client of their choosing.

The Adrian Dominican School of Education (ADSOE) at Barry University offers a Master of Arts in Administration degree program. It is designed as a graduate degree program for adult learners and practitioners focusing on administration, leadership, communication, and teamwork.

The mission of our Master of Arts in educational administration program is to prepare professional educators for leadership positions as school administrators or principals.

Every community has unique needs and must have leaders who possess the capacity to both understand community complexities as well as the knowledge base to contend with the challenges that inevitably arise. Most importantly, community leaders must have the capability to respond by implementing solutions-focused interventions and policies. The need for community leadership in all social contexts has never been greater than in the present, whether the context is urban, rural, suburban, economically challenged or affluent.

Established in 1973, the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Kentucky State University prepares students for careers as supervisors, managers, and decision-makers in the public sector—from local and state, to federal government agencies. The MPA program is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Our program courses are designed to develop student learning competencies as outlined by NASPAA to ensure students will succeed as practitioners in the public sector. Accordingly, the program is designed to prepare students to gain problem-solving skills, critical thinking competencies, program analysis abilities, and insight into the challenges and processes of public policy implementation.

The MA program provides general course work in each of the major fields of political science. Students may choose either the thesis option, under which they complete 30 credits of course work plus 6 thesis credits (POLS 599 Master's Thesis), or the nonthesis option, with 30 credits of course work plus 6 hours of special research credit (POLS 598 Special Research Programs) or 6 hours of approved internship credit (POLS 510 Internship). Both the thesis and nonthesis options require a final oral examination; the non thesis option requires a written examination as well. The program provides a broad-based foundation in political science while allowing students to pursue specific areas of interest.
