Introduction
The Innovation and Technology programme educates specialists who are able to implement ICT solutions to management processes of enterprises and thus help companies to grow through more added value created. Qualified students should have a bachelor's degree in economy or ICT related field.
Graduates can work as innovation or process managers in any company that is already implementing or planning to implement ICT solutions in their processes. Students also have the ability to start their own company, especially as a consulting business in implementing ICT solutions or work in the public sector in the field of innovation policy or digitalisation.

Curriculum
The programme aims to educate specialists who can implement ICT solutions to management processes of enterprises and thus help companies grow through more added value created. Qualified students should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, mathematical sciences, technology sciences (including IT)We welcome students who would not only like to be programmers or system managers but are also interested in management, innovation and entrepreneurship. We can also turn it another way around – students who already are interested in the latter but would like to know more about implementing ICT solutions to those processes.
The specialisation in "Innovation and Digital Management "(full degree at the University of Tartu) comprises the following modules:
- Basic module (30 ECTS)
- Speciality Module 1: Digital Business Analysis (30 ECTS)
- Speciality module 2: Innovation Management (36 ECTS)
- Optional courses (3 ECTS)
- Master's Thesis (18 ECTS) and master's seminar (3 ECTS)
The specialisation in "Analytics for Business "(leading towards the double degree with Ghent University) comprises the following modules:
- Basic module (21 ECTS) to be taken at the University of Tartu;
- Speciality module 1: Digital Business Analysis (31 ECTS) to be taken jointly at the University of Tartu (12 ECTS) and Ghent University (19 ECTS);
- Speciality module 2: Innovation Management (44 ECTS), to be taken jointly at the University of Tartu (36 ECTS) and Ghent University (8 ECTS);
- Optional courses (3 ECTS) can be taken at the University of Tartu or Ghent University;
- Master's thesis (18 ECTS) and master's seminar (3 ECTS) to be taken at the University of Tartu.

Program Outcome
Upon completion the curriculum successfully, a student:
- has a systemic overview of innovation theories and innovation policy;
- has deep knowledge in some field of research and/or application of innovation or technology management;
- is independently able to identify and formulate research questions in the field of innovation and technology management as well as find suitable methods to answer those;
- can collect, analyse and interpret data of company from strategic and operational level using appropriate methods and evaluation criteria to measure the productivity of the company;
- can use different methods to analyse company business processes to propose improvements and to measure implementation efficiency;
- is able to do business with digital products and manage those;
- is familiar with developments in technology and has a positive attitude towards life-long learning;
- is collaborative and can communicate with different stakeholders, is able to lead meetings and workshops.

There are 2 tuition waivers for citizens of EU/EEA/Switzerland, 13 for all citizenships.
