As an MSc student of International Marketing, you’ll be based in Surrey Business School and be part of a vibrant community focused on improving business practice and creating a sustainable and positive change.
What You Will Study
Through our specialized modules, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive insider’s look at core international marketing concepts which will familiarise you with the strategies and tactics used in international marketing and the implications these can have. This course will inspire and mold you into a graduate ready to help tackle global marketing challenges. We'll make sure that you’re well-equipped to navigate and understand the unique responsibilities that marketing professionals face in our ever-changing, globalized world.
With a combination of lectures, interactive seminars, and IT lab workshops, we provide research-led teaching by experienced academics in international marketing and international business. Also, we offer practice-based teaching and learning by inviting experienced practitioners from international organizations. You'll also have the opportunity to develop marketing research skills that can be applied to various international marketing issues in your dissertation.

The University operates a credit framework for all taught programs based on a 15-credit tariff. Modules can be either 15, 30, 45, or 60 credits, and additionally for some masters dissertations, 90 credits.

Timetable
Course timetables are normally available one month before the start of the semester.
New students will receive their personalized timetable in Welcome Week, and in subsequent semesters, two weeks prior to the start of the semester.
Please note that while we make every effort to ensure that timetables are as student-friendly as possible, scheduled teaching can take place on any day of the week (Monday – Friday). Wednesday afternoons are normally reserved for sports and cultural activities. Part-time classes are normally scheduled on one or two days per week, details of which can be obtained from the Academic Hive.

If you decide to enroll with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) as an affiliate, you can study CIM qualifications without having to complete all the modules.
For most qualifications, you'll only need to take two assessments instead of the usual three. Therefore, you'll add an individual award to supplement your degree. There’s a fee to join CIM.
