Counselor Education Master's Program

Throughout your time in our counselor education master’s program, you’ll have opportunities to work with clients in our on-site clinic, gaining practical experience as you earn your degree.

Students who enter our counselor education master’s program range in age from 22 to 65. As a result, they bring a wide range of prior experience. The diversity in age and experience our students bring to our master’s program in counselor education is one of our most valuable learning tools. Their experience may be volunteer or paid, and may have taken place in education, business, mental health care, or other settings. If you do not have experience in a helping relationship, we usually recommend that you volunteer in a school or agency before you apply to the counselor education master’s program.
