Introduction

The predecessor of the University of Human Environments was the Okazaki Sewing Girls' School, which was established in 1897. It opened as Okazaki Gakuen International Junior College in 1992 and then opened in 2000 as the current University of Human Environments in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Did.

In 2003, the master's program of the Graduate School of Human Environmental Studies was established, in 2015, the doctoral program of the Faculty of Nursing and the Graduate School of Nursing was established in Ofu City, Aichi Prefecture, and in 2017, Matsuyama in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. With the establishment of the Faculty of Nursing, the University of Human Environments has now become a university with 3 faculties and 2 graduate schools on 3 campuses, and its contents have been enhanced more than ever as a university that contributes to the community.
