Introduction
The Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering is guided by a constant perspective of applied research and development, focusing on the research and implementation of solutions for concrete problems.
Objectives
- Provide a solid cultural and technical background in Electrical Engineering, aiming to develop the capabilities for innovation and critical analysis.
- Acquisition of scientific knowledge, from a technical and practical nature, and its applications, allowing the continuation of studies and/or the pursuit of a professional activity

The MEEC is structured in several large areas of knowledge materialized in two specializations. These areas include: "Information Technology and Computing" and "Telecommunications and Electronics", which are materialized in the specialization of "Information Technology and Telecommunications"; and "Energy Systems" and "Automation and Control", materialized in the specialization of "Energy and Control Systems".
