The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid has undertaken the launch of a Master's Degree in Civil Liability with the aim of providing adequate coverage, from a practical and research perspective, to a legal field of extraordinary importance.

From the interdisciplinary perspective provided by Civil, Commercial, Labour and Private International Law and, globally, the rest of the legal areas, the Master has a dual profile: professional, which involves doing internships in companies, and academic or research, which allows direct access to the Doctorate.

It addresses issues such as the foundations of civil liability; civil liability insurance and business activity; civil liability for damages in labour relations, civil liability in international private relations; or the patrimonial liability of the Public Administration, among others.

* Students must prove a minimum level of B1 (according to the MERC) in English or French. Knowledge of other languages will be considered positively. During the admission process, knowledge of the languages required for enrolment in the master's degree will be assessed.** The submission of at least one letter of recommendation will be required, which demonstrates the applicant's ability, responsibility and motivation.Language requirementsStudents applying for the degree must have a minimum level of knowledge of Spanish in accordance with the language requirements.Check the generic language requirements for taking a master's degree at UC3M, depending on whether it is taught in Spanish, English or bilingual.Students with foreign degreesOnce the notification of admission to the Master's degree has been received, students with university degrees issued by a higher education institution belonging to an educational system outside the EHEA, in order to formalize their enrollment, must present said degree legalized through diplomatic channels or, where appropriate, through the single legalization procedure or "Hague Convention apostille".
