Introduction
The Master’s in Human Resources Management aims to provide university graduates with the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in HR management.
The Master’s programme is taught by a highly proficient faculty of both academics and practitioners. The values of rigour, applicability and personal respect underpin the programme’s content and structure.
The programme provides a gateway to a variety of career opportunities in consulting firms and corporate HR departments in public, private, national, international, and non-profit organizations. Graduates are regularly employed by top-tier companies such as Airbus, Amadeus, Banco Santander, BBVA, Baker & McKenzie, Boston Consulting Group, Coca Cola, Deloitte, EY, Indra, INECO, Management Solutions, Manpower Group, Repsol, and Vodafone. One subject, Global People Management, is taught in partnership with the Spanish Association of Global Mobility (FEEX), a leading Association of Multinational Companies in Spain.
Besides studying the Master entirely at the UC3M in Madrid, students may also study the second semester at the Institut de Gestion Sociale (IGS) in Paris (Madrid-Paris track), receiving two Master’s diplomas, one from each institution.

Admissions
Scholarships and Funding
For the academic year 2024-2025 a call has been published for a maximum of 8 scholarships for payment of the net enrolment fees for students accepted into the Master’s, with the following provision:
- 8 scholarships for the sum of €4,500, €3,000, or €1,500
To apply, you must have completed the application for admission to the Master’s.
Curriculum
The Master’s curriculum is taught over two terms.
- In the first semester (September-January), students take eight compulsory courses exploring the role of Human Resources Management (HRM), as well as the part played within organizations by other critical management activities. This term is organized as a “mini-MBA”.
- In the second semester (February-June), the program focuses fully on HRM, offering a number of highly specialized courses, which are similar in content across the Madrid and Madrid-Paris tracks.
- Students on the international track (Madrid-Paris) receive two Master’s diplomas, one from the UC3M and the other from the Institut de Gestion Sociale.
- Students are required to attend all lectures and seminars on any track.
