Introduction
Specialize in diagnosis and psychological intervention from early childhood.
The Master's in Child Psychology is an official degree whose objective is to train students in the area of clinical psychology of child and adolescent development. The program, of 12 months and 60 ECTS, has a focus on experiential learning, and thanks to this, you will carry out more than 400 hours of internship with real patients in psychology centers specialized in the main disorders that affect childhood and adolescence.
In addition to learning from an elite faculty, you'll have access to world-class facilities. Part of your training will be carried out by working in interprofessional teams, sharing activities with other professionals from other health areas such as nurses, psychiatrists, educators, and social workers.

- You will carry out more than 400 hours of internship with patients both in reference centers in the psychosocial field and functional diversity as well as psychology specialized in the main disorders that can affect childhood and adolescence: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger Syndrome, Syndrome Down, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Conduct Disorders, Learning Disorders, and Emotional Difficulties.

- An expert psychotherapist in the child and adolescent area will carry out constant supervision of your clinical practice, with the aim of guiding your learning in intervention in children and adolescents.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in or launch research projects.
- The program is compatible with professional activity, taking place on Fridays and Saturdays so that you can develop your studies while you continue working.

Professional practices
Internships in companies are a key element in your training. Acquiring experience after what you have learned in your degree is the best way to put into practice the knowledge acquired, learn about different professional realities, and enter the job market. There are two types of internships, curricular (included in your study plan) and extracurricular (those you can do voluntarily).
To carry out the curricular internships in companies, you will need to have 50% of the credits approved and enroll in the subject before starting your internship. These practices are monitored by the company and the internship teacher, as well as the completion of intermediate and final reports for evaluation.
If you want to improve your work experience before completing your university education, you can do extracurricular internships. You can do them in any course but we remind you that the practices are a formative complement to your studies; therefore, the more knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internship experience.
