Introduction

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program is a professional degree program intended for students pursuing administrative practice in health service-related settings.

Program Tracks

We offer two tracks to earn the MHA degree:

  • the Resident Track for students embarking on their career in health administration
  • the Executive Track for currently employed healthcare professionals

The 55-credit hour Resident Track curriculum can be completed in 21 months (full-time) or 33 months (part-time). The comprehensive and timely curriculum includes a required 10-week summer practicum that allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a wide range of health services organizations.

The 48-credit hour Executive Track admits students annually every August and requires two years to complete. This track is intended for working, mid-career healthcare professionals with at least 5 years of increasing responsibilities within health services or related industries.

Regardless which track you pursue, our MHA Program will provide you with a rigorous and comprehensive educational experience, including the core disciplines of the schools of public health that have become increasingly important in health administration.
