We take great pride in the success and accomplishments of our 55,000 alumni. The College's outstanding faculty, numbering more than 140, provides world-class research and scholarship for the academic and business communities. Dozens of teaching fellows, instructors and executives-in-residence enliven our classrooms and enrich our students. And our resourceful, customer-oriented staff supports a learning environment that is second to none.
The Terry College's undergraduate and MBA programs are highly competitive in their admissions. More than 95 percent of the university's in-state freshmen receive the merit-based HOPE Scholarship, paying full tuition and fees. And the MBA program's 651 average GMAT score places Terry among the 15 highest averages for public business schools.
The Terry College awards doctoral degrees in eight academic disciplines, producing researchers and teachers for leading universities and businesses. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are consistently ranked among the best by U.S. News & World Report, Business Week, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal.
Since 2001, we've also initiated several degree programs in metro Atlanta. An Evening MBA program is offered at UGA's Gwinnett campus near Lawrenceville, and a new Evening MBA program and our Executive MBA program are housed in the college's Atlanta Executive Education Center in Buckhead. This facility also hosts a growing number of innovative non-degree executive education programs.
