Introduction
Our Master of Science in Sustainable and Green Finance (MSc in SGF) programme is designed to train recent graduates to challenge sustainability issues faced by businesses, financial institutions and investors in Asia and beyond. Our curriculum aims to instil an increased awareness of how finance can help to solve these challenges through a hands-on approach.

Programme Structure
Our NUS Business School MSc in Sustainable and Green Finance programme is delivered intensively over 12 months (Full-Time) or 21 months (Part-Time). You are expected to complete 40 Units to graduate.
Introduction to Finance, Accounting and Economics
This pre-course aims to provide incoming students with the basic microeconomics concepts used in environmental and resource economics. The topics covered are introduction to economics; supply, demand, and market equilibrium; consumer and producer surplus; market interventions and deadweight loss.

Experiential Learning
- Capstone Project (For Full-Time Students)
The Capstone Project is a group project, giving the MSc in Sustainable and Green Finance students a hands-on approach to apply the concepts and theories acquired in the programme to business problems. These projects, primarily self-sourced by students, will provide the opportunity for students to work with industry organisations to define, analyse, and resolve complex and challenging business issues in the field of sustainable and green finance.
- Practicum (For Part-Time Students)
This practicum allows students to apply the concepts and frameworks learnt from the core and elective courses on the topics of sustainable and green finance in a real-world situation or environment. The students are expected to identify a gap or an application area in their current work environment and propose and recommend a suitable solution in the area of sustainable finance.
