Curriculum
The curriculum consists of 9 compulsory courses and 8 elective courses, covering a wide array of topics including corporate strategic management, environmental security, artificial intelligence, digital diplomacy, social inclusion, integration, and war.
These subjects are approached within the context of leadership and through the lenses of philosophy, political theory, law, and economics. Students are required to select three of the 8 elective courses. Alternatively, students may choose to complete a Final Thesis instead of the electives.
To obtain the MSc diploma, each student must complete 12 courses (9 compulsory and 3 elective) or 9 compulsory courses and a Final Thesis, accumulating a total of 90 ECTS credits (7.5 credits per course and 22.5 credits for the Final Thesis). By offering both elective courses and the option for a Final Thesis, the curriculum allows students flexibility in shaping the direction and specialization of their studies.
Additionally, students may apply for an internship, subject to approval by the MSc Program Committee and consultation with the program’s social partners. Students' performance is evaluated through written assignments and/or oral examinations at the end of each semester. For students with disabilities or special educational needs, alternative assessment methods may be applied by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Accessibility Unit’s guidelines for students with disabilities.

Program delivery
The teaching process for the MSc Leadership: Ethics and Politics program is structured to provide a balanced blend of face-to-face and distance learning experiences. Our approach encompasses:
- 75% Face-to-Face Teaching: Through interactive seminars, workshops, and lectures, students have the opportunity to engage directly with faculty members and peers in a traditional classroom setting. This mode of instruction fosters active participation, dialogue, and collaboration, facilitating a deeper understanding of course material.
- 25% Distance Teaching: Leveraging technology and online platforms, we offer distance learning components that enable students to access course content, participate in discussions, and complete assignments remotely. This flexible approach accommodates the schedules and preferences of students who may not be able to attend classes in person, allowing them to actively participate in the learning process from anywhere in the world.
Practical Implementation:
Our flexible teaching methodology enables students to tailor their academic experience to align with their individual circumstances. For instance, students have the option to choose one out of the three semesters as distant learners, providing them with the flexibility to balance their academic pursuits with other commitments.
