Introduction
The Corporate Communication curriculum is one of the three curricula within the Master's Degree in Public and Corporate Communication (COM) of the University of Milan. The COM degree is part of the teaching activities of the Milan School of Media and Communication. The programme offers two other curricula:
- Comunicazione e Marketing (taught in Italian with some courses in English)
- Digital Media, Data, and Society (fully taught in English)
Each curriculum has its own specific focus and is designed to be highly professionalizing while also providing strong methodological skills that open pathways to careers in the communication sector as well as in scientific research.
The Corporate Communication curriculum is fully taught in English. It is designed to provide students with key knowledge and competencies in internal and external corporate communication and marketing within an international framework. The training path includes specialized coursework in human resource management, marketing, and advertising, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of communication strategies within global business environments.

Curriculum
The Corporate Communication curriculum is designed to provide students with advanced preparation in the field of business communication, developing high-level professional skills for use in international business communication, and ensuring that students are well-equipped for roles in corporate communication, strategic marketing, and digital media.
Mandatory Courses
Students in the Corporate Communication curriculum will complete the following mandatory courses:
- Social Media and Platform Cultures
- Advanced Marketing
- Web Communication
- Consumer Culture
- Visual Communication
- Corporate Communication
Optional Courses
In addition to mandatory courses, students may choose from a range of optional courses, allowing them to tailor their studies according to their interests. These include:
- Human Resources Management or Economics of Communication
- Data Analysis or Research Design
- Market Regulation and Business Practices or Digital Politics and Public Opinion Research or Digital Society
Further Training Activities
Students are required to obtain 9 ECTS through further training activities, which can include internships, Traineeships, laboratories
Students can participate in specialized laboratories such as:

- Laboratory: Advanced Digital Methods
- Laboratory: Advertising Communication
For students without an Italian degree, there is the option to earn 3 CFU in Additional Language Skills: Italian
