Introduction
Exercise Science and Athletic Training are both exciting, highly marketable fields that are growing faster than average through 2026 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Our Master of Science in Athletic Training program prepares students for a successful career as an Athletic Trainer.
The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) is a two-year full-time program for students interested in a career as an Athletic Trainer. Students in our program will participate in comprehensive clinical experiences, including more than 16 weeks of immersive experiences in a variety of local medical settings and anticipated settings nationwide and globally.
The lab facilities are designed specifically for Athletic Training. Students are provided interprofessional opportunities with the Physician Assistant Program and the Nursing Program. The curriculum prepares students to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam.
