The “Institut Polytechnique de Lyon” is a coalition of 4 French "Grandes Ecoles" of Engineering (graduate colleges):

Its mission is to develop and collaborate in common projects in a variety of fields, mutually beneficial to all, and to improve the quality of the service provided to students. They work together on a wide range of fields such as: humanities and general culture, pedagogy, international relations, entrepreneurship, etc. The areas of expertise are: project management, promoting common courses, promoting international relations, privileged relationships with Regional and European institutions that provide financial support for projects.
