Introduction
Illinois Tech’s Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering is a course-only, professionally oriented degree program that provides students with analytical, problem-solving, and management skills to excel within the field. This program will prepare students to become qualified transportation planners, traffic engineers, and traffic safety engineers.
Coursework includes urban transportation planning, transportation systems management, and systems analysis in civil engineering. Additionally, students will be trained to understand and evaluate the socioeconomic impacts of transportation and infrastructure engineering projects.
