Even if you have not yet received your diploma by the application deadline, you can apply with a current record of achievement and a certificate of the ECTS points you have currently achieved, the provisional final grade and the expected completion date.
- Completed bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration or in a usually closely related course with at least 210 ECTS points. If you graduate with 180 ECTS points, you have the option of completing a BAföG-funded adjustment semester or completing the missing ECTS points parallel to the master's degree until you register your master's thesis.
- A share of 30 ECTS points each in engineering and economics modules must be proven. If proof is not provided, the Admissions Committee issues conditions to complete additional modules to the required extent.
- Practical work experience of at least 12 weeks (internships as part of the first degree are counted). If no internship has been completed, conditions will be imposed.
An admissions committee decides whether the professional requirements and any conditions are met.

With the modules of the master's program, we enable you to broaden your horizons with regard to the classic topics of industrial engineering. In addition, you also go more in-depth and penetrate theoretical concepts more extensively. In this way, you will develop the ability to independently solve subject-specific problems in the classic areas of industrial engineering in industry, trade and administration as well as in scientific research and qualify for managerial positions in these areas. The orientation of the study content is more scientifically oriented and therefore also conveys the ability to do a doctorate.

You will gain extensive knowledge and problem-solving skills in the field of industrial engineering. Program structure
The master's degree in industrial engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences comprises three clearly structured semesters. The first two semesters each consist of three compulsory and two compulsory elective modules, the third semester serves to prepare the master's thesis and concludes with the master's colloquium. The modules of the Master's course aim at a deeper theoretical penetration but also a broadening of the classic topics of industrial engineering. Of course, you can also study part-time if you apply.
