Introduction

The Master's programme in Vehicle Electrical Distribution Systems Development prepares students for professional activity in development, planning, and production in the fast-changing field of physical electrical systems. Future employment may be with automobile manufacturers, suppliers, development service providers, or tool manufacturers, or indeed with companies developing and producing electrical systems for aviation, the railways, or plants.

The course conveys skills in, among other areas, electrical engineering (e.g. automotive electronics and electrical systems architecture), mechanical engineering (e.g. theory of mechanical vibration), production and manufacturing technology including logistics as well as management and business administration.

The implementation of the programme is supported by companies that are involved in the field of physical electrical systems. There is also close cooperation with these companies. We recommend following this programme alongside in-depth practical experience (dual study). The university may be of assistance in finding a suitable company.
