Curriculum
Creative-artistic. Interdisciplinary. Project-oriented.
Options
The master’s programme offers a lot of freedom to choose individual specialisations. The students choose about half the subjects themselves. As well as the three studies models (in-depth, extended or control studies), several major and minor subjects can be selected.
Project orientation
The curriculum and the entire course of studies are designed for the development and implementation of challenging multimedia projects. The student has access to intensive project coaching sessions and consultations right from the start.
Theory and reflection
Inspiration for practical deeds comes from busying oneself with current trends and developments in design, media, art and society. Theoretical subjects hone the ability for the conception, reflection and argumentation of ideas and projects.
Team and communication
The students learn how to organise both themselves and project teams, and how to manage complex projects. Presenting ideas and solutions convincingly is learnt during the studies, as is communication with groups who have different requirements.
Interdisciplinary teamwork
Designers, managers and technicians work together on innovative concepts and solutions. Different technical backgrounds and areas of expertise are brought together in interdisciplinary project teams.
