Introduction

Studies in the Master of Accounting (Professional Practice) will provide the technical and conceptual skills required to become a competent accountant and will develop students' abilities to analyse, criticise and synthesise various accounting and related principles, methods and techniques. The skills and knowledge gained from this course will prepare students to be effective managers or financial analysts. Graduates find employment as accountants or financial analysts and may increase promotional opportunities in their existing occupations.

The course also provides the opportunity for professional practice experience and/or research and training in business communications.
