Introduction

Allow your creativity and passion for collaboration to grow and be showcased through numerous performances on and off-campus in the immersive musical environment of this master's degree program in the School of Music, Dance, and Theatre.

The MM program in performance with a collaborative piano concentration allows students to perform with all instrumental areas and voices, focusing on collaborative endeavours such as song recitals, instrumental duos and chamber music, operatic and musical theatre productions, and large participation ensembles.

Students refine their pianistic technique while developing the specific knowledge and abilities to be skilled and sensitive musical collaborators. Collaborative piano students impact every area of the School of Music, Dance, and Theatre. Their work with singers, instrumentalists, choral and large ensembles, composers, music theatre, and opera colleagues leads toward advanced careers in music.
