Introduction
Master of Science in Engineering (Diplôme d'ingénieur Civil des Mines)
The program trains innovative engineers and managers with a strong background in Science and Humanities, with broad expert knowledge, and the ability to work in multicultural environments and tackle the complex challenges of today’s society. The studies are conducted with a strong focus on research and innovation and comprise hands-on industrial and research internships and international exchange tracks.
Admissions
Curriculum
The 1st year of the program forms a common core that allows students to enrich their general engineering background.
The curriculum includes:
- Scientific and managerial subjects
- Humanities and foreign languages
- Project work and 1-month internship
From the 2nd year, the students define their personalized study trajectory by choosing one of the scientific areas:
- Materials Science
- Computer Science & IT
- Decision and Production System Engineering.
The curriculum includes:
Courses according to the chosen trajectory
- Industry or research project
- 3-months internship
The third year is a year of deepening knowledge and specific orientation in line with the professional projects.
The curriculum includes:
- Courses according to the chosen trajectory and professional specialization
- 6-months internship and final defense
During the 3rd year, students may also choose to:
- Study at the partner university and obtain a double-degree diploma
- Spend an exchange semester at the partner university abroad or in France
- Do a sabbatical (gap year) to pursue personal projects or have professional experience.

The programs also allows the students to:
- Discover engineering profession through meetings and conferences led by leading business executives;
- Dive into the economic world through visits to companies;
- Do research at the school's cutting-edge partner laboratories alongside experienced scientists;
- Enrich their training with managerial competencies and humanities, foreign languages and cultural disciplines which are crucial for the global leaders.
Upon successful completion of the program and the required internships, the graduates are awarded with the French Diplôme d’ingénieur which is recognized as equivalent to a Master's degree in Engineering.
