This Signal and Information Processing discipline is MEng and Ph.D. degree conferring site. There are 16 professors and 3 associate professors, 4 doctor tutors and 15 master tutors. The discipline was granted the right of conferring M.E in 1986 and Ph.E in the year 2000. During “The tenth five year plan”, we have deeply developed the research of non-linear information signal processing and visual image recognition, especially in morphology filter and stack filter technology.
