The ASC Master’s Course is jointly operated by the following universities (the ASC consortium):
University Alma Mater of Bologna, Italy;
University of Helsinki, Finland;
Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Poland;
University of Leipzig, Germany;
University Lille1, France (Coordinating institution)
The ASC network aims at preparing students to become experts and develop international skills towards professional industrial careers in the spectroscopic characterization of matter and/or doctoral studies.
The ASC program has reached a high level of harmonization, with a single Master program scheme applicable at each partner institution and thus yielding to a better integration into the European scheme....

The two-year master studies in theoretical physics provide a high-level, internationally competitive training in theoretical physics, guiding to frontiers of modern research in the following main areas:
Quantum field theory and QCD, quark-gluon plasma
Classical and quantum gravity
Conformal field theory and bosonic string
Deformed Field Theory, kappa-Poincare formalism, double special relativity
Supersymmetric quantum mechanics, integrable models
Modern quantum mechanics, entanglement, nonlinear dynamics
Many body physics and statistical mechanics
Comprehensive and up to date introduction to modern theoretical physics is provided in connection to the current research conducted at the Institute of Theoretical Physics. Students can join one of the active groups and take part in special projects....

The course starts if the minimum number of six (6) students will enroll for the first year.
Students are expected to have the basic chemistry skills obtained from the bachelor courses. The Master of Science program (2 years) is offered in the curriculum: Advanced Synthesis in Chemistry. The studies are closely related to the research at the Faculty - we believe that the best teaching is linked to research and we ensure that our programs are dynamic and up to date. Students are offered state of the art courses of advanced synthetic techniques and instrumental methods used in structural studies as well as a variety of classes presenting correlation between the structure of chemical compounds, both organic and inorganic, and their reactivity. Both curricula were elaborated by leading scientists, a specialist in their area. Students can join each of the research groups at the Faculty and take part in scientific research. It is expected that Master thesis should contain new scientific results which can be published in international journals....
