The Professional Master's Course in Regional and Local Economic Development is governed by Law n.27 / 2009 of 29 September, on higher education, published in the Boletim da República I Série, Number 38, by the Statutes of the Catholic University of Mozambique and by the Regulation in force in the Faculty of Management of Tourism and Informatics.
The Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM), attentive to the need for socio-political development, openness to the promotion of values of justice, peace and reconciliation, intends to teach the postgraduate course and Masters in Political Science: Governance and International Relations , in partnership with the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University (IEP-UCP).
The program is structured in such a way to combine on-site learning activities with off-site activities. The intensive on-site learning activities are preceded by preparatory reading and related exercises for submission to the school. There is also post-session follow up work involving activities like problem-solving assignment, paper writing based on field research, and independent reading.
