The LMAST Master degree will form students highly specialized in atmospheric science, among the professional expertise there are meteorologist, climatologist, forecaster, atmospheric scientist. The LMAST program aims to complete the general knowledge acquired by the students, with the bachelor degree in the science and/or engineering fields, by building a solid knowledge in the characterizing areas and by acquiring deep knowledge in the atmospheric science and in the observation technologies. The LMAST program foresees the following 2-year schedule (four semesters).

The Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering is aimed at training professional figures with solid competencies in Information Engineering and a specific education in one of the sectors, into which the ample disciplinary sector of Telecommunications is divided. Starting from a solid preparation in mathematics-physics and engineering disciplines, necessary for the admission to the Course, this Master’s program intends to deepen the theoretical-scientific aspects related to the distinctive disciplinary sectors and give the necessary knowledge and competencies to develop advanced project management skills, referring to high complexity systems that require innovative solutions, for what concerns products and/or services.

This course of study is aimed at giving students a solid background in Mathematics and, at the same time, the possibility to acquire a practical and interdisciplinary preparation. It’s organized in two-years training paths for a total of 120 credits.

MathMods is a 2-year full-time Joint European MSc in Mathematical Modelling in Engineering run by three universities: University Of L'Aquila (Italy), Hamburg (Germany), and Nice (France). The Consortium can also count on collaboration with associated academic institutions, and can rely on the effective support of several companies, research institutes, and non-profit organizations in different aspects of the project.

The Master Programme in Computer Science is characterized by a marked autonomous activity of the student, in order to develop her ability in solving problems. The expertise provided by the program is mainly devoted to distributed systems and mobile applications, computer networks, advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence, and the analysis and development of complex software systems.

The Master’s degree in Computer and Systems Engineering is aimed at training professional figures with solid competencies in Information Engineering, able to understand, manage, and contribute to innovation in the fields of information processing systems and automation systems, and able to work confidently in the international context.

The aim of the Laurea Magistrale (Second cycle degree course) in Applied Data Science is to train specialists able to process, analyze and use data in specific and differentiated application contexts. The degree course in Applied Data Science provides for the possibility to carry out stage and training in companies as an integral part of the educational path, making it easy to transfer competences from the University to the companies.

The Master’s graduates in Civil Engineering have an in-depth knowledge of the theoretical-scientific aspects of mathematics and other basic sciences and are able to use this knowledge to interpret and describe complex engineering problems.

“InterMaths – Interdisciplinary Mathematics” is a 2-Year full-time Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Mathematical Modelling and Simulation with interdisciplinary applications, with a special focus on biomedical Sciences and industrial engineering. It is run by five European Universities. “InterMaths” prepares for a career in research as well as in private enterprises, in particular in industrial engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutics, biomedical industry. Our study plans develop mathematical skills that are relevant to a broad range of interdisciplinary fields.

The Master’s Degree in Physics completes the general training, acquired with a Bachelor’s degree, by giving a solid common basis in the distinctive sectors, and allows students to acquire a deep knowledge of Frontier Physics in the chosen sectors of Micro- or Macrophysics, useful to work also in an international context.

"RealMaths - Mathematics for Real World Applications" is a set of 2-year Double MSc Degree programs in Applied Mathematics with a focus on scientific computing and applications. Students spend one year at the University of L’Aquila and one year in one of the partner institutions. Our specializations include modern applications in material science or socio-economical sciences, as well as innovative methodologies in high-performance computing and data analysis.
