The postgraduate program in Agricultural Engineering trains engineers operating in the agro-industrial sector who possess a system vision, i.e. an approach to the study and the implementation of application solutions based on an overall vision of the technological aspects of the agro-industrial chain. The objective is to prepare culturally and professionally highly qualified technicians able to implement the available technologies to ensure the sustainability, safety, and traceability of agro-industrial productions, to design and integrate automation, to monitor agricultural robotics systems, to use Big Data analysis and Artificial Intelligence. By using these tools, the Agricultural Engineer aims at improving yields and control over safety requirements, designing intelligent irrigation systems, at reaching the optimal economic management of farms and of the connected supply chain.

The MSc Sustainable Food Systems (European Double Degree Programme) is an academic program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable food systems. This program typically involves collaboration between multiple universities in Europe, offering students the opportunity to earn a double degree by completing coursework and research at two different institutions.

Music and Acoustic Engineering is a two-year Master Program that falls within the area of Information Engineering (the "reference disciplinary area", as identified by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, is LM-32, corresponding to Computer Science and Engineering). The postgraduate program in "Music and Acoustic Engineering" forms experts and designers who are able to face consolidated as well as emerging technological challenges in the audio, music and acoustics areas.

The M.Sc. in Food Processing will enable students to generate new food products and modify existing products and processes, as well as implementing new methods to improve food quality. Students will acquire skills regarding scientific and engineering principles in research and development but will also be qualified to prepare and submit product costs, based on acquisition of raw materials and manufacturing budgets.

The degree is taught by SMEA, the Graduate School in Agricultural and Food Economics. It has a long experience in research concerning agricultural economics and policy, the industrial organisation of the food sector and the analysis of the functioning of the food supply chain. This experience relates both to academic research and to support for policy-makers, since the researchers of the team have developed a long experience of collaboration with international organisations (i.e., European Commission, OECD, FAO and World Bank), government agencies and producer associations.

The inter-University Second-level Master’s Degree in “Innovation in Food Science and Technology – Michele Ferrero” will be activated, for the academic year 2024/2025, by the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” and the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences at the University of Turin.
