This program explores simultaneously the evolution of our built environment and the urban transformations in a context of rapid change, with the requirements of a sustainable, accessible and smart city, conceived in a spirit of universal co-design (Design for All), fully integrated.
This program aims to explore the social issues through a participatory and co-constructed design approach. Its purpose, through Social innovation actions, is to improve quality of life, well-being, and health, focusing on the most vulnerable populations. Besides field research work, the educational program develops participatory methodologies adapted to the studied systems and co-constructing solutions rooted in reality.
The Information Design program explores the emerging challenges presented by the exponential production of data, from graphic representation to the conceptualization of innovative services based on data, information, and knowledge. It uses principles resulting from studies carried out in visual identity, and more particularly in graphic semiotics, signage and cartographic representations of information.
Within the MDes Food Design & Brand, the focus is made on the evolution of eating habits and brand identity through the creation of all signs and uses of consumer goods. Specific knowledge in food anthropology, marketing, technology, methodology, etc are learned and tested through projects with industrial partners
