Our new course will focus particularly on large-scale complex design problems relating to government buildings, corporate offices, retail malls, and hotels. The specialist requirements of healthcare and hospitality will also be studied in detail. These will be developed through studio-based design exercises in addition to workshop based skill development. The final semester will be an independent design thesis carried out by the student focused on a live industry based problem.
Master of Urban Design (MUD) is intended for individuals who have a strong interest in the practice of shaping the physical form of urban areas and in the design of public places.
Master of Urban Housing aims to provide applied knowledge about the local housing market, policy making, planning, design, and technology aspects of urban housing and project formulation and monitoring, design and technology aspects of urban housing. The program will impart generic knowledge related to urban habitat, knowledge related to housing domain and tools and techniques required to analyze and apply solutions to urban housing-related problems.

Conservation and Regeneration program is a two-year specialist education in theory and practice of building conservation and conservation led urban regeneration. The program situates itself in the context of the World Heritage City of Ahmedabad and engages with the historic built environments, urban histories and theories, contextual design approaches and community engagement to explore the relationship between conservation practice and urban regeneration.
The Architectural Design specialization within the M.Arch. program at the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University is an advanced design stream intended for architects to explore, experiment and critically reimagine design as a discipline, empowered by the experience of practice. The specialization has a broader mandate compared to other M.Arch streams and allows students to explore the following themes - new tools and technologies of design, design for social change, reimagining the agency of architectural practitioners, among other things.
