It was formerly the Construction Engineering and Management Division at the Department of Civil Engineering, which was established in 1991. The CEM track is designed for flexibility giving students the opportunity to choose courses that meet their needs and schedule. The CEM Program advisor is the Director of CEM (Erik Backus). The CEM project advisor will be selected through mutual agreement between the Director of CEM, the student, and project advisor. At the completion of the project work, the student will prepare a formal report and submit it to the project advisor.
