A masters refers to the completion of a graduate study program that prepares students to further their knowledge of a specific subject or advance their careers. The majority of masters are granted by state or public universities.

Biotechnology refers to products and technology that are based on biomolecular and cellular processes. Students studying in this field may take classes such as molecular and cell biology, genetics, immunology, anatomy and physiology, physics, chemistry, and microbiology.

Education in the United States is mainly provided by the public sector, with control and funding coming from three levels: state, local, and federal, in that order. The common requirements to study at a higher education level in United States will include your admissions essay (also known as the statement of purpose or personal statement), transcript of records, recommendation/reference letters, language tests
