The Tulane Masters of Accounting (MACCT) program prepares students on all these fronts and provides them with a head start to become leaders in the accounting profession. The MACCT program's core courses provide academic rigor in auditing, financial accounting, managerial accounting and taxation. The program's flexible structure gives students the option of adding a concentration in Finance, Energy or Taxation and to complete their coursework over 2 or 3 semesters. Additionally, if the student desires, the MACCT course offerings can enable a student to sit for the CPA exam. We develop analytical thinking skills in our students through experiential learning in all our courses – Socratic discussions, case studies, group projects are all part of the coursework.
