Introduction
This master's degree seeks to respond to the growing interest in the study of international issues, as well as the demand from public institutions and private entities to have experts and researchers in the analysis of an international reality, which is increasingly relevant in social processes. , economic, political and legal.
The Master in International Studies responds to the concerns of a good number of graduates and graduates, especially in the field of Social and Legal Sciences and Humanities, in relation to the study of international issues, as well as the interest of public institutions and entities deprived of having experts and researchers in the analysis of international reality from different perspectives.
The implementation of this master's degree is a reflection of the relevance that the international dimension of social, economic, political and legal processes acquires today. This circumstance makes it necessary to consolidate a specific academic offer that allows the graduate or graduate student to achieve training aimed at promoting and facilitating a better understanding and analytical capacity of international society in the current context of globalization. The master's degree thus offers students a multidisciplinary approach that combines legal, political and economic perspectives. From this triple perspective, international institutions and processes are analyzed and a broad vision of the major problems and issues that affect international society is offered.

The Master in International Studies consists of five thematic modules that group together both mandatory and optional subjects. These modules respond to the different perspectives of analysis from which international reality can be approached and which combine and complement to provide the student with a complete and multidisciplinary vision.
Classes are from Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., according to the schedule approved for each academic year.
Throughout the course, seminars on current topics may be organized, which will be linked to some of the Master's subjects and which will require the attendance of the students.
Without prejudice to the specific evaluation criteria of each subject, attendance at a minimum of 80% of the face-to-face activities scheduled in each of the subjects will be required.
Program Outcome
- Train specialists in the analysis of international relations from an eminently multidisciplinary perspective, in which legal, political or economic aspects are combined; and in which respect for the values considered fundamental for international relations in the 21st century, as proclaimed in the “Millennium Declaration” (freedom, equality, solidarity, tolerance, respect for the environment or common responsibility), as well as the protection of human rights, particularly the equality of men and women, democratic principles and the development of a culture of peace.
- Contribute to the preparation of graduates who wish to develop their professional work in fields related to international studies (diplomacy, international organizations, NGOs, specialized journalists,...), thus satisfying the demand of public administrations and the general market of specialists in this specific field. Introduce students to research work in the field of international studies.

- International Organizations and Foreign Action: This area identifies Diplomacy, linked to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or international organizations, carried out in embassies and consulates or in international organizations (World Bank, UN, cooperation offices...). In addition, the possibility of developing this work in the Ministries of Foreign Relations and Cooperation, in the technical offices opened by the Autonomous Communities abroad and in Third Sector organizations that operate internationally must also be considered.
