goalsThe Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Work and Employment began in 2012 and aims to train professionals and social scientists specializing in labour relations, work and employment. It offers an interdisciplinary and global approach to the world of work in order to provide students with the necessary skills to research and intervene in the field of work, employment and contemporary organizations.RecipientsThe University Master's Degree is aimed at students coming primarily from the Social Sciences, considering the following degrees (Degree, Bachelor or equivalent) as priority access routes: Sociology, Labor Sciences, Labor Relations and Human Resources, Political Sciences, Social Anthropology, International Relations , Management and Public Administration, Social Work, Economic and Business Sciences, Psychology, at any of the universities of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) or abroad that accredit equivalent studies. The Coordination Commission of the Master may also give priority to other official and legal sciences (Law, Education, Pedagogy, etc.) depending on the subjects and content of the respective study plans for said degrees. For other disciplines and fields of knowledge (Humanities, Engineering, Health Sciences) linked to the content of the University Master's, the Master's Coordination Commission will decide on a case-by-case basis the adequacy of its profile to its requirements.Why study this master?The University Master's Degree is aimed at a global understanding of the logic of how salary relations work in their organizational and labour aspects, and therefore, provides them with the skills and competences to carry out different functions of responsibility in the business and labour sphere: organizational functions such as experts or technicians in socio-labour analysis; as specialists in occupational health and work organisation; as well as managers in personnel management and training, or actors in collective bargaining. It also offers strong training competences for teaching and research professionals in the field of work and employment studies (for example, allowing access to doctoral studies).Admission requirements for mastersNon-enabling university mastersBe in possession of any of the following titles:Spanish official university degree .
Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
Or be carrying out studies leading to the obtaining of any of the previous degrees during the course in which the pre-registration is carried out and be in a position to prove the obtaining of the same before the date established in the corresponding call (see href = "https: //www.ucm.es/requisitos-de-admision-a-masteres ).
In addition, students from foreign educational systems, whose mother tongue is different from Spanish, must prove level B2 of the Spanish language (or higher) .
