2nd Year: Sustainable Disease Management; Crop Physiology; Sustainable Livestock Systems; Sustainable Use of Pesticides; Sustainable Viticulture And Woody Crop Production; Water Resources Management

Career opportunities

Graduate work in management and consulting activities in agro-livestock systems; international marketing of agricultural products, livestock and industries; development of innovative technologies within companies operating in the agriculture and livestock area; control and monitoring of
productive, environmental and economic performances of agricultural farms; research and development of innovative technologies within private and public research institutions.

Entry requirements

A minimum three-year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) is required, with proved skills in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; in investigating research techniques as well as the ability to apply research findings to real problems

Additional admission requirements for students applying to the double-degree programme:

  • English Language Proficiency Requirement: Students whose primary language is not English must submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores that are not more than two years old. If submitting the TOEFL: a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or overall score of 80 on the Internet Based Test (IBT) with at least 20 on speaking and 20 on writing. If submitting the IELTS: a minimum overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0. Students who have received degrees from institutions in countries where English is the primary language usually are not required to submit the TOEFL (or IELTS) scores unless the degree was received more than two years prior to application to the Graduate School.
  • Entrance Test Score GRE: Scores on the Verbal and Quantitative sections of the General Test of the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) are required (minimum score 300). The general test of the GREis offered year-round as a computer-based test at centers worldwide. Advance registration for tests is required.
